The story of Opinion Ciatti began in the ’50s when Rolando Ciatti founded the company of the same name, the first to produce and sell furniture for televisions.

In the following years, Ciatti started to make its way on the national scene as a forerunner of the times. Between modular kitchen systems, to be combined and placed freely, to the Ciatti a Tavola collection, which brings stainless steel into the homes of Italians, Ciatti amazes and innovates the way of living the house.

It was 2003 when the Ciatti family first met Bruno Rainaldi, an internationally renowned artist and graphic designer. Together they join forces and create CCR design, a company specializing in the creation of home accessories; extraordinary collaborations and productions mark the period. Among the many products born in the early 2000s, there is also Original Ptolomeo, a self-standing bookcase designed by Rainaldi himself, who won the Compasso d’Oro in 2004.

In 2006, Lapo Ciatti joined the company: the third generation took over the reins of the family business and founded Opinion Ciatti, always accompanied by the genius of Bruno Rainaldi. The new entrepreneurial reality is their way of expressing an extremely personal opinion on the world of design.

Today Lapo is also in charge of the artistic direction of the company, and once again the goal remains to anticipate market trends, paying more and more attention to the customization of products.
